Observing the silent flight of a samara, or winged seed escaping its parents shadow is almost certainly a universal human experience. An encounter with one of Nature's helicopters probably inspired the first manifestation of mankind’s ideas of vertical flight. This most basic example of flight in Nature shed light onto greatly simplified flight control mechanisms and a pattern to increased aerodynamic performance in a Low Reynolds number environment. While many others look to the animal kingdom for solutions implemented by Nature, our mono-wing rotorcraft mimics a solution discovered in the plant kingdom and implemented on a highly maneuverable aircraft, the Roboseed. The advantages of this unique rotorcraft is inspired by winged seeds such as a maple seed, and is patented and exclusively licensed by the Inventor, a founder of Aeroseed.
